Crayons4Kids is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to brightening the lives of hospitalized children across America. We are so excited that you have chosen to explore our website, and we hope that you will help us achieve our mission.
Crayons4Kids was founded by Matt and Emily Leinwand in September of 2001 when they were just 5 and 6 years old. It all started with a simple idea to collect crayons and coloring books and pass them out to hospitalized children.
Since then, Crayons4Kids has delivered to hospitals in all 50 states.
Over the years, we have collected over:
401,408 new crayons
30,263 new coloring books
21,496 new games and toys
1,821 new baby rattles, and
1,503 DVD's.
The 7th Annual

was a HUGE success.

We collected over 80 boxes filled with toys and will be bringing big gift baskets to all the children in the hospital over the holidays.
